Welcome to the Miss Mahogany Scholarship Foundation online.

The upcoming exciting new pageant of the millennium celebrating the achievement of young women. Brains, Beauty & Talent for the career world!

                                                                                                              

Founder, Doris S. Webb

Ms. Webb brings significant pageant and event management experience to the MMSF Executive Team. She works closely with the organization board of directors to lead and manage all organizations operations including finances and marketing. Before creating the MMSF, she competed in numerous pageants and was crowned Miss Cover Girl of Memphis. She feels honored to be a part of an organization that will play a vital role in the lives of young women. It has always been her passion to work with young women; helping to cultivate and prepare them for the career world. She knows that education is the key to success. Miss Mahogany will choose issues that are relevant to society such as: Aids Awareness & Prevention, Effects of Domestic Violence on Society and Teenage Pregnancy. She would like to pass on her experience and knowledge with pageants to other women, so that they will be encouraged to pursue their educational goals and dreams. Ms. Webb feels like in participating in the Miss Mahogany Scholarship Pageant, women will get the opportunity to express their intellect as well as their talent and will be able to excel in the career world as well as the real world.www.doriswebb.com

 


Co-Founder, Ross Milam

Ross is a Native of Memphis who studied music at Union University. He acquired a BA degree in music education. He performed numerous energetic and highly acclaimed shows under the direction of "Heartbeat Productions" for four years. He has also choreographed and worked with innumerable show choirs in Memphis,Tennessee. He left Memphis to pursue a career in singing , dancing and acting. He has performed at various theme parks, cruise lines, New York cabarets and national tours. Ross has composed, choreographed and directed his own one man show"An Evening with Ross Milam". He has used his expertise to choreograph high school show choirs, pom squads, dance teams and beauty pageants on a national level.

Ross Milam Ross Milam is currently working for Spirit Cruises (Norfolk, Virginia) and Heart Beat Productions (Memphis, Tennessee) where he assists in auditioning talented performers, Show theme, Writing, Directing and Choreographing shows nationally. Ross teaches basic voice instruction at Evelyn Otts School Of Dance studio in Norfolk, Virginia. Ross is also choreographing various show choirs, preparing them for national competitions and concerts while also working as a private vocal coach part time. www.rossmilam.com
